Where do the lessons take place?

How to book a lesson?

Booking a lesson is super easy! You have two options:

  1. Manual Scheduling - Perfect if your schedule varies. Simply pick the times that work best for you.

  2. Weekly Lessons (not available for trials) - Ideal if you prefer consistency. Reserve specific days and times for your learning.

I already have a subscription. Can I have a trial with another tutor?

Trial lesson purchases are only available for new users who do not yet have a subscription.

If you would like to explore learning with a new tutor, you must do so:

  • by booking a trial lesson from a trial lesson balance (if any);

  • by booking one of your subscription lessons;

How does Weekly Lesson work?

Weekly lessons aim to give students an uninterrupted, consistent learning routine. One that will help them achieve results.

Why doesn’t the lesson schedule on tutor's side match the one I selected?

If you and your tutor are in different time zones, you'll see your schedule in your time zone, and the tutor in theirs.

NOTE: If you move to a place with a different time zone, your schedule will not adjust automatically. You have to go to your profile and adjust the time zone manually.

How to access lesson materials?

To access your lesson materials, both you and your tutor can use the Lesson Notes feature.

  • You can access Lesson Notes during the lesson via the classroom toolbar, and after the lesson, via the lesson details page.

  • This feature provides a centralized place to view and manage all your lesson-related documents and notes.

Can I download lessons for offline use?

Currently, lessons can't be downloaded for offline use. However, you can access lesson notes at any time to review the material whenever you need.

Is a video recording of the lesson available to view?

The lessons are not recorded by our platform, and video recordings of past lessons cannot be offered.

I didn't like the lesson. What do I do?

We are sorry to hear about such an experience. If you are unsatisfied with how the lesson went, confirm the lesson if it has been conducted by the tutor but make sure to give it a low rating and specify what was wrong. Our team will check the details and get in touch with you. If you have sufficient grounds, we will add a +1 lesson to your LiveXP balance so that you can try another tutor.

Your satisfaction and success are our top priorities. For the support Team to investigate your case as soon as possible, we kindly ask you to provide detailed and constructive feedback from the very beginning.

If no complaints are sent within 24 hours (or if the lesson wasn't confirmed) after the lesson, it is considered successful and gets closed. No refund or replacement is are possible after that.

Can I reschedule a booked lesson?

Yes, if the other participant agrees to do it.

If you know you can't make it to a lesson, let the other participant know as early as possible and send a reschedule request suggesting another date and time.

Students and tutors can send reschedule requests directly to each other whenever they need. All the recipient of the request has to do is accept or decline it.

Can I edit the rating I gave to a lesson?

Once you've confirmed and rated a trial lesson, the lesson is technically closed. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to change the rating after that.

Nevertheless, you can edit the rating you’ve given to a subscription lesson at any time:

  1. Follow this link OR click the calendar icon in the top right-hand corner > "All my lessons"

  2. Find a lesson you want to change the rating for

  3. Click the "Rated" button and choose a new rating

  4. Click "Confirm"

My tutor constantly doesn't show up for the lessons. What should I do?

My tutor frequently misses lessons. What should I do?

  1. Start by discussing the issue with your tutor in a respectful and open manner, letting them know that you prefer more regular lessons. They may not realize it’s inconvenient for you.

  2. If that doesn't resolve the issue and you'd like to switch tutors, you can do so anytime by following this guide:

  4. Consider leaving a review for your tutor to help other students get a better understanding of their teaching style.

My tutor did not show up. What do I do?

In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a tutor misses a class with you, please:

1) try to message your tutor or get in touch with Support Team. We can assist you in real-time and help you with this situation.
2) If your tutor is unresponsive and doesn't show up for the lesson without prior informing your of any unexpected situation they faced, after the lesson time is over, please mark this lesson as not completed and it will be returned to your balance.
