Can I reject students?
Can I reject students?
At LiveXP, we recognize that while tutors aim to provide a personalized approach for every student, not all tutor-student matches are perfect. Tutors have the option to discontinue teaching specific students; however, it is crucial to do so in a professional and respectful manner.
To prevent any misuse of this option, we kindly ask you to review the valid reasons for such situations and the proper procedures for handling them.
Discontinuing a student will not negatively impact your tutor profile or ratings, if you follow the guidelines set by LiveXP. However, any misuse of this option may lead to a review of our collaboration.

What to do if my student is always late?
What to do if my student is always late?
If your student is consistently late, here are a few steps you can take:
Communicate Openly: Reach out to your student and express your concerns about their tardiness. They may have valid reasons for their delays, and open communication can help address the issue.
Set Clear Expectations: Remind them of the importance of starting lessons on time and how it benefits their learning experience.
Adjust Lesson Times: If possible, consider whether adjusting the lesson start time might be beneficial for both of you.
Remind the established by LiveXP policies: This could include a notice about starting the lesson and finishing it at the scheduled time regardless of their arrival (if it wasn't cancelled or rescheduled).
Be Flexible: Sometimes, students may be facing challenges outside of their control. A little understanding can go a long way.
If the issue persists despite your efforts, please feel free to reach out for further assistance.

How can my student leave a review about me?
How can my student leave a review about me?
Students have the option to leave a review once their lesson with you is completed. Reviews can be submitted in two ways:
During the lesson confirmation in the pop-up window.
Through the "My lessons" section on the platform.
Here’s a simple guide you can share with students for leaving a review from the "My lessons" section:
Go to the "My lessons" section in your account.
In the "Past" tab, find the lesson you want to leave a review for.
Click on the "Rate" button next to the lesson.
Once they leave their first review, it will appear on your profile!
NOTE: For trial lessons, reviews can only be submitted during the lesson confirmation step. Once the trial lesson is confirmed, students won’t be able to leave a review afterward.
