To kick things off:
1. Register on LiveXP.
2. Read the Terms of Use, LiveXP Etiquette, the Earning System, and the Tutor Performance and Collaboration Agreement. These will help you understand the platform and avoid any misunderstandings.
☝🏻If you disagree with any terms, you should stop using LiveXP immediately.
3. Start by filling in all the required information, such as the languages you teach and your schedule.
4. Download the LiveXP mobile app (IOS/Android) to keep track of your lessons and messages, and more. This step cannot be skipped to continue setting up the tutor profile.
5. Enhance your profile: add an introduction video, profile picture, a detailed profile description etc. The more detailed your tutor card is, the easier it is for students to see you’re a good fit. Find more profile guidelines here.
6. Once your profile is complete, it will be reviewed by our Moderation Team within 3 business days. If approved, you'll be notified that your profile is visible to students.
💡If we find you to be our perfect match but notice that some adjustments are needed for your profile as per our Profile Setup Requirements, we'll let you know - requests for adjustments will be displayed on your "Dashboard". Once everything is in order, your profile will be approved.
6. After approval, your tutor card will become visible to students and available for bookings from them. This is how it works:
When students click on a particular language, they see the cards of tutors who teach it. They pick one and book a lesson.
Students can book a 30-minute trial lesson first. After a trial lesson, they can buy a subscription plan that fits them.
Every plan gives students a certain number of lessons to have within a certain period of time. Subscriptions help students to dive deeper into the learning process and make progress. Meanwhile, tutors get a steady flow of students and cash.

As long as you have a stable internet connection, a laptop/PC, a camera, and a microphone, you're good. Once you register on LiveXP, you've got everything you need to start teaching.

Anyone can register on LiveXP. Some people hone their skills in college, some learn on their own. We provide opportunities for everyone.
If you have a certificate/diploma, you are free to upload documents indicating that you've had some relevant experience and can help students prepare for exams.
