How do I change my username?

Unfortunately, you can't change your username on LiveXP. However, you can set your real name as you'd like others to see and address you on the platform.

To add your name:

On the Web:

  1. Click on your profile menu or profile picture in the top right corner.

  2. Select "Account Settings."

  3. Add your name to the "Name" field.

On the App:

  1. Go to the Learning tab (at the bottom).

  2. Tap your profile picture (in the top right corner).

  3. Add your name.

  4. Tap "Save."

Can I change my email?

Your username is automatically assigned when you register and cannot be changed.

You can change your email:

  • Send us a request to [email protected] from the email you initially registered. In your request, write your new email.

  • We can also fix typos in the email linked to your LiveXP account. Just message us in the Support chat to request the edit.

💡If you entered a non-existent email during registration, unfortunately, nothing can fix that.

In this case, you need to create a new account with an existing email and inform Support about your first account. We will delete the account with the non-existing email.

The flag displayed next to my username is not the flag of my country. How do I change it?

Initially, the flag and time zone are set according to your location, but you can edit them if you move to a new place.

To do this, go to "Account settings" > "Profile details". In the “Where are you from?” field, choose the country you need.

Can I choose several languages for teaching?

Yes. Right now, tutors can choose up to 2 languages for teaching.

To edit this information:

  1. Navigate to your "Language Specialties" section.

  2. In the "What do you teach" section, edit the languages as needed.

Also, you can add up to 5 languages in which you can teach. This can potentially attract more students. The more languages, the broader the audience!

The schedule students see doesn't match the schedule I set up. Why?

If you and a student are in different time zones, you'll see your schedule in your time zone, and the student in theirs.

NOTE: If you move to a place with a different time zone, your schedule will not adjust automatically. You have to go to your profile and adjust the time zone manually.

Why is the "Book a lesson" button inactive in my profile?

Tutors cannot see the "Book lesson" button in their own profiles if they are signed in. To see the button, sign out and visit your profile again.

If you still see the button as inactive, check the "Private lessons settings" and make sure that the "Vacation mode" is not enabled.

I have made the requested moderation changes. Could you unhide my profile?
