To whom do I pay?

  • To LiveXP. When you subscribe to lessons on LiveXP, your payment is securely processed, and the lesson credits are added to your subscription balance.

  • Tutors are then compensated by LiveXP after each lesson is completed. This ensures a smooth and transparent process for both students and tutors.

How to update my payment method?

While we aim to make the subscription renewal process as smooth as possible, we currently do not offer the option to change the payment method (card tied) for refills and renewals.

If you would like to change the method for refill or Plan Change, please follow the instructions below.

Changing Payment Method

Subscription Renewal/Refill

FROM WEB:

  1. Cancel your active subscription by navigating to your "Account settings."

  2. Upon cancellation, your subscription will be deleted by the system on the date of the next rebill, and it will be possible to re-purchase it with the new desirable payment method.
    However, if you require immediate deletion, please contact our Support Team. It's essential to ensure that all current subscription lessons have been utilized (either scheduled or distributed from the balance), as they will be lost upon deletion.

  3. Once your subscription is successfully deleted, you can proceed with managing your payment methods as described earlier.

Subscription Plan Change

  1. Select "Change plan" in your "Account settings."

  2. On payment page for the new plan, enter your new credit card details and check the “Save this card for easy payments” option.

When you update your card for any of the processes described above, your old card will be replaced; all future purchases will be made with your new card until you decide to update it again.

Why was I auto-charged?

It seems your account has an active subscription that wasn't cancelled.

Here’s how you can check your subscription details:

  1. Log in to your LiveXP account.

  2. Go to the My Progress section (top left).

  3. In the Subscription section, you'll see your current subscription status and the next auto-rebill date if it's active.

A few things to note:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew on the rebill date until cancelled.

  • Even with unused lessons, the auto-charge still occurs, and new lessons are just added to your actual balance.

  • Deleting the app doesn’t cancel your subscription; it must be done manually in the subscription settings.

What can I do?

If you'd like to avoid future auto-charges:

Cancel your subscription now. You can still use your remaining lessons, and your subscription will end on the next rebill date. After that, you can purchase a new subscription anytime.

What is the LiveXP Refund Policy?

Thanks for reaching out! At LiveXP, we strive to offer a clear and fair refund policy. We have two types of refunds:

  1. Internal Refunds: These are credits for specific lessons that were missed or didn't meet our quality standards, as outlined in our Lesson Terms and Conditions. With an internal refund, the lesson is immediately credited back to your balance, allowing you to rebook with any tutor on our platform. This option helps you continue your learning journey without the wait time for a monetary refund.

  2. Monetary Refunds: If you choose not to continue with LiveXP, we can return the money to you instead of offering lesson credits. However, please ensure your case qualifies for a refund as per our policy before applying.

IMPORTANT:

  • Internal refunds are regulated by the LiveXP Lesson Terms and Conditions.

  • Monetary refunds are regulated by the LiveXP Subscription Cancelation and Refund Policy.

  • We always take responsibility if we fail to deliver the services purchased through our platform. Please note that refunds aren’t available for purchases made outside our platform or for services we don’t offer.

Can I purchase a single lesson?

Yes, you can buy a single 30-minute trial lesson to test out a tutor! Remember, each trial is for one tutor only.

To purchase more lessons, you'll need to subscribe by choosing a preferable subscription package.

Can I get an invoice for my payment, and how?

Yes, LiveXP can provide an invoice for your payments upon request. To receive one, simply reach out to our Support Team through the chat feature or by emailing us at [email protected]. We’ll be happy to assist you!
