The LiveXP Classroom is accessible 15 minutes prior to each lesson, offering you the flexibility to address and resolve any potential issues, ensuring a seamless learning experience.

We also provide a test audio and video studio for your convenience which is available at any time in your profile menu:


Troubleshooting steps:

πŸŽ™οΈ Check Permissions:

  1. Ensure your browser has the green light πŸ”’ to access your microphone and video.

  • For Google Chrome users, click on the lock icon in the address bar and ensure your camera and microphone are set to "Allow."

  • If you're using Safari, look for the red camera icon near the right side of the search bar.

  • Set camera and mic access to "Always Allow."

  • Refresh your browser tab (CTRL + R).

Note: If you're on a managed Chrome device at work or school, your network admin might control camera and microphone settings.

2. Unmute both your microphone and video.

3. Reconnect external devices if needed.

πŸ—£οΈ Ensure Default Settings and Recording Levels:

  1. Make sure your microphone and camera are set as the default recording devices.

  2. Verify that recording levels are appropriate.

  3. Troubleshooting for both Windows and Mac systems.

🌐 Browser Compatibility:

  1. We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, Safari (for macOS users), Firefox, Edge (Chromium), or WebView.

  2. Try to switch between browsers. If you are using Chrome, try a different one, for instance, Firefox.

  1. This prevents the browser from saving cookies, website data, or any add-ons that could affect your connection.

🚫 Disable Distractions:

  1. Turn off browser add-ons 🧩, antivirus superheroes, VPN capes, and other security tools.

  2. Close applications like Zoom or Skype that might be blocking microphone access.πŸ“±πŸ’»

  3. For Mac and Windows users, follow the respective guides for Force Quitting applications.

  1. Make sure no other devices are hogging your network spotlight during class.

  2. Double-check for any sneaky scans or updates slowing down your computer's groove.

  1. If tech issues won’t budge, suggest switching to Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet for the lesson.

  2. But remember to keep all your communication on LiveXP so we can swoop in with support when needed!

  1. Message your tutor or student via LiveXP messenger and ask them to review their camera and microphone settings.

  2. Ensure they're not muted within the LiveXP classroom.

  3. Suggest using alternative video communication tools like Skype or Zoom if problems persist.

  4. Notify your tutor or student of the change and provide necessary information for the new platform.
